The Bullfighter series has been specially developed for tuna fishing with lures. Premium components and some of the the best blanks on the market combine to give the angler a serious advantage over the competition. Although designed specifically for tuna, these rods excel in fighting kingfish, GT, Yellowfin and other large pelagic species. Howk Bullfighters come in four flavors:

Bullfighter 150 - A rod designed for 150lb class fish, Howk's lightest model still has the backbone to bring in fish with a good power reserve while the first third of the rod has the right flexibility to give proper action to stickbaits and topwater lures.

Bullfighter 170 - This rod has been designed to specialize in tuna fishing with stickbaits. As with all Bullfighters, theses middle action rods taper the backbone closer to the angler, providing more angler relief and more efficiency.

Bullfighter 200 - The 200 is designed for casting long distance to feeding tuna, maximizing time in the strike zone. Ideal target is 200lb class fish, and although the rod is robust it still maintains a lighter tip for castability and better action. 

Bullfighter 250 - The largest of the Bullfighters, the 250 is rated up to PE10 for the biggest pelagics you're looking to target. 

Features:

• Toray Carbon T1k blank - Arguably the best carbon blank on the market. These rods have lifetime warranty blanks
• Fuji SIC rings K - Extremely hard silicon carbide ceramic dissipates heat and reduces friction better than other rings
• Middle-action rod - First third of the rod has good flexibility to maximize lure casting and movement. More power reserve down the rod to lessen fatigue and increase comfort
• Fuji reel seat - Highest quality graphite reel seat
