The new Shimano Ultegra FC Spinning Reels feature a Shimano Ci4+ composite body and a cold-forged HAGANE Gear provides extreme durability and sensitivity with less weight. MicroModule Gear II and SilentDrive technologies improve gear mesh and minimize overall play in construction to provide increased reel performance. Shimano's X-Protect technology makes the Ultegra FC suitable for fresh, brackish and saltwater environments. A seamless one-piece bail allows line to travel smoothly onto the line roller, which reduces line friction and tangles.
