Van Staal Plier Replacement Cutter And Anvil
Designed to fit Van Staal's 6" or 7" titanium pliers (available here), this ultra-durable, corrosion-resistant tungsten cutter will stay sharp enough to cleanly slice nylon monofilament, fluorocarbon, dacron, and braided lines season after season.
The blade features a beveled edge that precisely meets that the flat surface of the anvil. The cutter and anvil are sold separately. Each set of Van Staal pliers has one cutter and one anvil.
Note: These cutters are not designed to cut hooks or wire, and doing so is likely to quickly dull or damage the cutting parts.
Cutter: Sharper edge, the side used to primarily cut.
Anvil: Duller edge, serves the purpose of applying pressure and gives the cutter a base to adequately cut through line.
