Atlas Lures Chubbs
A completely new designed tuna-grade butterfish-shaped lure. Due to its stocky build, weight placement and frame; Chubbs casts farther than most other lures, yet is still easy to keep close to the surface. It's great for any skill level and are completely handmade in Portsmouth, NH. Each and every solid resin blank is hand poured and uses heavy gauge stainless spring steel thru-wire frames and always lead-free metal. Additional variants in foiled or ghosted. Foil adds realism, depth, layers and flash. Ghost is a clear blank, pressure-cast and packed with metallic glitter and add holographic fins.
A simple slow-moderate retrieve gives it a great swimming action with a large tail wag. Adding small twitches gives a great “fleeing“ motion big predatory fish can’t resist. A slow sweep and pause makes it rapidly vibrate and swim then flutter down the water column.
Because every lure is handmade and painted, there may be variances.
