Daiwa Saltist Levelwind Conventional Reel
Saltist LW feature 5 ball bearings (2CRBB+2BB+2RB) for smooth performance and a 6.1:1 or 6.4:1 gear ratio depending on the model. Line per handle turn retrieve rate is 35 or 47.2 inches per rotation while reel weights range from 18.5 to 24 ounces. The series also accommodates impressive line capacities ranging from 12/420 to 40/310 for mono and from 40/260 to 50/630 for Daiwa J-Braid. Max drag runs from 15.4 pounds for size 20 and 30 reels to 20-pounds for size 40 and 50 models.

If your braid order doesn't fully fill the spool, we’ll back it with the appropriate sized line at no extra cost. For custom spooling big game reels with leaders, knots, crimps, or splices, contact us—if you can dream it, we can rig it!
