The last pliers you will ever need, the Donnmar Checkpoint titanium pliers are constructed of military grade titanium in upstate New York. This allows the pliers to be ultra-light, yet perform equal to, if not better than, any other marine plier on the market. The Tungsten-Carbide blades can cut monofilament lines up to 450 pound diameter, any PE line on the market, and wire (braided and single strand) up to 180 lb. test. Further, when the blades lose their edge, they are fully replaceable. The pliers are spring loaded, with the pivot bearing machined from solid brass, then nickel coated, to prevent corrosion for a lifetime of use. The jaws come together perfectly, and the 20° diamond pattern on the jaws helps grip unhook fish even in awkward positions.
