Ripple Fisher Oceánica DFT Offshore Boat Rod
OCEÁNICA is a spin-off series with the theme of “Combining commercial fishermen and Lure anglers” as a new challenge, taking advantage of the knowledge, experience, and design capabilities that Ripple Fisher has cultivated so far. In the future, in addition to gear, we plan to propose items such as rods for live bait fishing that are modern and functionally designed.
As the first product of the OCEÁNICA series, we have realized the stylish and highly functional tubular blank design that Ripple Fisher envisions for “STAND UP TUNA DRIFTING”, which is popular both domestically and internationally. The first two models to be released are as follows:
DFT 61/PE 6-8
This is a full tubular blank “Stand-up tuna drifting” rod that targets large yellowfin tuna to marlin.
The DFT61/6-8 has a highly sensitive tip section that allows you to send bait to the school of fish, and a flexible belly section that bites well and has high hook-up ability even in severe conditions so that you won’t miss any rare opportunities.
It has a strong recovery force unique to tubular blanks and high lifting force that can keep the tuna under control, but when loaded, it bends smoothly all the way to the handle, reducing the load and allowing for a stable fight even at high drag.
The DFT61/6-8 is a mid-power rod with full torque and speedy fighting performance that allows you to directly feel the thrill of a standing fight.
This rod was developed as a multi-purpose rod for use with Yellowfin tuna, Marline, Grouper, etc.
DFT 511/PE 12-15
The DFT511/12-15 was developed with a focus on super-large bluefin tuna over 200kg, and its aim was to provide the fighting performance to catch super-large bluefin tuna efficiently and in a short time.
In addition to the strong force of recovery and high lifting power unique to tubular blanks, the butt section is reinforced with high-strength carbon material with high tension, making it a sturdy rod with the power to control even super-large sizes. Despite its overwhelming rod power, in order to minimize physical exhaustion, the fulcrum of the bending during the fight is placed at the angler’s hand, and the tapered design allows the entire rod to bend and restore, making it easy to regain position even during long fights under ultra-high loads, allowing for a tenacious and stable fight until landing.
The DFT511/12-15 is a standing swimming rod that combines Ripple Fisher’s knowledge of big game fishing and design technology cultivated over many years at a high level for anglers who aim to reach the top and challenge records.

About Ripple Fisher-
Ripple Fisher started as a request from a commercial fisherman who was having difficulty stopping fish with his current rod. The result of this request was a rod company that was dedicated to the angler. Originally only producing big game rods, Ripple Fisher has since added variety to their selection allowing anglers to target various species using a number of techniques.
