The Ocea Jigger F Custom is a reel specially designed for slow and vertical jigging as well as bottom fishing.  While the reels drag is operated via a star knob, there is a lever on the side of the reel which applies tension to the spool while in free spool.  This lever allows the angler to easily control the fall rate of their jig/bait in the water with a single thumb.  This advantage is not only limited to the fall speed of the jig but also helps the angler control the jig's underwater posture, making the fall even more enticing to predators. In addition, the lightweight handle knob is easy to grasp helps reduce the burden on anglers when fighting powerful species. The Ocea Jigger F custom features Shimano's flagship technology such the smooth and powerful winding Infinity Drive and Micro Module Gearing.  this technology provides increased rigidity and durability.  The reels drag system also is technology laden, ensuring smooth line payout even with fine PE.  Sizes 1000 to 1500 are great for red sea bream, hairtail, root fish, jigging in the deep and middle seas, while the sizes 2000 to 3000 are great for games against large aquatic fish such as amberjack and tuna.

*All reels will be backed with 20lb Clear Berkley Trilene Big Game Monofilament to fill the spool at no additional cost if the ordered length of braid alone does not fill the spool. To have your reel spooled with straight braid, either: 1. Order a quantity of braid that will overfill the spool and we will refund the difference, or 2. Contact Us with your request and we will promptly spool your reel and contact you with the exact length of braid to add to your order.
